Empathy Field

Hypothesis:
Because emotion is a chemo-mental response to the environment, and empathy is a common response in many humans, then there must be released pheremones for all of the emotions.

Example:
Someone in the next room if bawling. I'm not feeling the greatest.

Counter-argument:
Could be the comedown from all the weed she smokes.

No, but realistically, what causes empathy?

I was typing a post yesteray, once again, not in the most joyful mood, and as if on queue, the computer in the lab fizzed out and restarted. I like to think it was cause and effect. The funny thing is that other computers did it too. Not all of them, not even ones that were nearby in rows or anything, just random ones around the room. Many of them being used by people I've been acquainted to, people that were working on important assignments. You'd hear exclamations come from here and there in the lab. Maybe its the futurama talking again, but then again, maybe its some higher-order empathetic connection....
