Dementia: severe impairment of mental functioning.

Even though I'm swamped with things I should be doing, tests I should be studying for, books I should be reading, I need to take some time to update this.

Dementia comes from this fun (and free!) NIH booklet: Understanding Gene Testing. Its pretty cool that the government actually does something like that. Go to www.cancer.gov and you can order all kinds of stuff, for free, no s&h. Edutain the masses! (or take advantage of a free service.) I've got a Genetic Testing exam today, so I'm brushing up on my terminology... its great how most of this stuff is review from high school.

Let's see, of the interesting things that have happened, I remember the Lancaster water main break.

I just love the way campus spams stuff so fast, its a well oiled machine. They also shipped in a huge brick of bottled water, to which I gratuitously helped myself to as well. (Take a peek at the nails, they're coming out again. slowly.)

Some other things... let me think... ah yes. Fire alarms. They're extremely loud and obnoxious. One was screaming off just now, but it stopped soon after it started. There was one the other day that ripped me from sleep however, and disoriented I wandered out to the quad. Think like a thousand cicadas screaming in unison.

Was just listening to Lenny Kravits - Fly Away. I was jamming on air guitar. Rock on. (Thank god I still don't have a roommate, althogh that is subject to possible change.)

I'll tell you all about last weekend in another post, back under the thumbscrews for me.

One last plug, then I need to get back to reality. I had a picture on here a couple posts ago, was connected with the "h" key fixing, and the webmaster from it contacted me, since I was apparently using some of his bandwidth by directly linking the image. In order to make up for it, I'll tell you briefly about his site. Hamal18.com is a site dedicated to his film. To put it nicely, its a "psychological thriller." If you want to know what I really think about it, ask me. Anyway, that's it. "Check it out," I guess.
